My Journey Through the Lens

Photography has been a part of my life since childhood, but it wasn’t until high school that I truly discovered the magic a camera could create. Armed with my mother’s old 35mm camera, I stepped into my first Intro to Photography class, where my art teacher introduced me to the captivating world of film photography. I spent countless hours in the darkroom, mesmerized as my images slowly came to life before my eyes. It was in that darkroom that my passion for photography truly took root.

After mastering the art of film, I transitioned to digital photography, opening up new creative possibilities. This shift led to an incredible opportunity—I crossed paths with a now dear friend who recognized my potential and helped me launch my career as a professional photographer. I began by assisting at weddings and senior portraits before gaining the confidence to take on my own clients.

In February 2013, my passion and dedication were rewarded with acceptance into the prestigious 10-month program at Hallmark Institute of Photography. There, my career reached new heights as I learned from industry legends like David Turner and Gregory Heisler. But my time at Hallmark gave me more than just technical skills; it gave me a community—a family of fellow photographers who supported and inspired me throughout our journey.

Today, I’m back in my hometown in Upstate New York, but my camera takes me far beyond. From the scenic landscapes of New England to adventures across the U.S., I’m always in pursuit of beauty, capturing each moment one shutter click at a time.
